What a lovely label! A shameless white goat for a cheeky spicy Witbier brewed with black pepper and ginger root.

Note: brewed with the hops cultivated by the company; the brewer use also ginger root and Szechuan black pepper.

VISUAL ANALYSIS

Foam: white foam, small bubbles. Short- lasting persistence and nice adhesion to the glass surface.
Appearance: pale yellow color, pearly reflections, hazy; noticeable sediment in the bottom of the bottle.
Effervescence: medium/ high effervescence, small bubbles.

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS

Scent/ olfactory sensation: fresh hints of spices, white bread and wheat. As it warms up, you can smell the ginger perfume. A little fruity (apple, lemon, gentle taste of tangerine and orange) and a mild peppery aroma.

GUSTATORY PERCEPTION

Tactile sensation: medium carbonated. Slight body.
Taste: great freshness, medium sourness well balanced by gentle malty sweetness.
Olfacto-Gustatory sensation/ back aroma: the intensity  of the back aroma is medium/ low, as the durability, although this beer has a great appeal. Spicy notes, yeast, white bread taste, the sharp and characteristic taste of the ginger and the pepper are softened by the round bready aroma and the cool fruity taste. Medium dry finish, not very persistent the back aroma.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: a refreshing, unique, thrilling Blanche.

VEG FOOD PAIRING: delicate “white” (without tomato sauce) pizza, zucchini risotto, boiled potatoes with Tzatziki Sauce and fresh grinded pepper, pasta filata cheese or Squacquerone accompanied by fresh salad a a sprinkle of vinegar/ lemon juice.
