VISUAL ANALYSIS

Foam: ivory/ white colour; medium adhesion to the glass surface and durability.
Appearance: hazy deep orange/ red colour; ruby reflections. Yeast on the bottom of the bottle.
Effervescence: soft carbonation.

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS

Scent/ olfactory sensation: toasted bread, caramel, alcohol and gentle liquor hints, raisin, candy sugar, spices and yeast notes, candied orange peel.
Intensity of aroma: medium.

Refinement of aroma: warm and inviting.

GUSTATORY PERCEPTION

Tactile sensation: round body, medium effervescence.
Intensity of aroma: medium intensity.
Taste: intense and warm malty and fruity sweetness; medium-low bitterness.
Olfacto- Gustatory sensation/ back aroma: caramel and candied fruits, ripe pear, citrus fruit beside a medium hoppy profile,

Persistence of aroma/ end: long persistence, orange, alcohol, citrus marmalade, baked nuts, aromas in the end, and medium dry finish.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: balanced, sweetish Italian craft Imperiale Red Ale.

 

VEG FOOD PAIRING: spicy dishes, baked vegetables and potatoes, creamy legumes and cereal soup with crusty bread, nutty cakes, fried bruschette with black beans.
