Alcohol % vol.: 4,8

Service temperature:  6-8° C

VISUAL ANALYSIS

Foam: white, small bubbles/ mousse like. Good retention and adherence to the glass.
Appearance: deep yellow, golden orange reflections. Crystalline.
Effervescence: mild.

OLFACTORY ANALYSIS

Scent/ olfactory sensation: delicate malty hints (fresh baked bread), fine fruity perfume (yellow apple, banana, pear).
Intensity of aroma: low.

Refinement of aroma: pleasant and elegant.

GUSTATORY PERCEPTION

Tactile sensation: light body, good carbonation.
Intensity of aroma: delicate.
Taste: moderate bitterness, fine low malty sweetness.
Olfacto- Gustatory sensation/ back aroma: bread and bread crust, delicate hoppy herbal and spicy hints, soft banana and pear.

Persistence of aroma/ end: dry, crisp and clean, hay and soft hoppy finish.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: rustic, pleasant and thirst quenching Italian German Ale… Yeah, let me call it Kölsch-like even if it is not possible:)

(In 1986, a very rare occurrence in the brewing world, in order to protect the identity of the original product, 24 producers decided that Kölsch beer can be produced and so named only by producers in the metropolitan area of Cologne. This is why you can’t drink a non-German Kölsch).
